Welcome to the 2014-2015 school year. I am so excited to be working with such a wonderful group of students and parents. As I am ready to embark on many new learning adventures I look forward to your support and assistance to provide positive learning opportunities for our children.
About Me: I am the Special Education Inclusion teacher. I work with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Inclusion teachers to support the individual needs of our community of learners. I assist the teachers with lessons, accommodations, and modifications. I work in all capacities in the classroom to facilitate a positive and meaningful learning environment. I am in each teacher’s classroom approximately one hour per day to aid and assist the students and teachers.
This is my 18th year of teaching. I have been at Mandeville Middle since 2006. I am a graduate of the University of New Orleans with a BA in Early Childhood Education with an add-on certification in Elementary Education and Special Education Mild/Moderate. I have two children, Reigh and Learryn. My son Reigh is 16 years old and is a junior at Mandeville High this year and my daughter Learryn is 23 and is attending Delgado. I have been married for 25 years to my husband Raleigh. I am happy to be a part of the MMS family. It is a wonderful place to be!
