PBS focus for December : Prudence

Research
Outlines were not completed. We will finish them Monday, Nov. 30th and then write a thesis statement. Tuesday, students will turn in their outline and we will go over them. I hope to have them returned by Wed., Dec. 2nd. so they can begin writing their paper. Since the dates have changed, please check the overview and planners for new deadlines. thanks

New Grandbaby.
Reece Patrick arrived Monday, Nov. 16th. He weighed 7lb. 11 oz. Everyone is doing great.

Spelling: Unit 16
Notebook due and test Thursday

We finished The View from Saturday and will be reading some short stories from our Literature book.

Book reaction: Newbery award or honor book.
Criteria and rubrics will be handed out and discussed before holidays.
Due Thursday, Dec. 10th

RESEARCH: WE started outlines before the holidays and will write thesis statements. Students need to begin writing their research papers.

PLANNERS: Please check planners to help your child stay organized.
