8-12 We will begin our unit on Wetlands. We will learn about the types and
create a pictorial displays in class. Display will be graded. Guidelines will
be handed out. Students should research and create items for the display at home March
15-19 Continue studey of wetlands and focus on soils, plants, and habitats.
We will participate in labs. Lab notebook will be graded. March
22-26 Finish wetlands unit. Focus on water and fisheries.We wil study parts
of a fish, buoyancy, salinity, and water cycle's impact on wetlands. Unit test
on Friday.

March 8-12 Graph commerical data and compare data using ratios and percents March
15-19 Complete lesson 2, comparison using fractional parts and percents. March
22-26 Complete lesson 3 comparing using ratios All
three weeks we will work on textbook lessons and enrichment activities. The enrichment
activities inculde teaching a lesson to a homeroom and the string art coordinate
