Community Education After-School Program

Trying to help your Mom with dinner, but just don't know quite how to cook? Want to shoot some hoops with your neighbors, but don't know how?  Or even having a sleepover and don't know how to do hair and nails?  Then Community Education is for you!  Community Education is a class that teaches your child many different things: softball, cooking, basketball, cheerleading, hair and nails, etc.  Community Education is held once in the fall and once in the spring.  The reason Community Education is so fun is that the teachers get to teach the activities!  It is a lot of fun for the students when their teacher is teaching the activity that they signed up for, because they feel comfortable around their teacher.  But, not always will your teacher be hosting an activity.  Maybe the teacher hosting the activity will be your next teacher!  If you do sign up for an activity you will go to class from 2:41 - 4:10 on Tuesday and/or Thursdays for four weeks.  But, you will have to pay from $20 - $30.  Each class can only hold twenty kids, so sign up as soon as you get the sheet that your homeroom teacher will pass out.
