Math- - We will be reviewing our study of division, factors and decimals this week. I will be reviewing with the students at the beginning of the week. We will have a test on Thursday. Please study all review guides given during the week.

Science (Homeroom Only)- we will continue our study of force and motion this week. We will be studying simple machines through a program called Science Court.

 

 

Reading: The story this week is: Black Cowboy Wild Horses. Please check planners for assignment and test. Test is planned for Friday. No homework is planned but students might have unfinished class work to complete.
20 minutes reading, 4 nights per week. Parents signature required.
Spelling:Unit 3, Lesson 5; Please check planners for new spelling assignments. Pre-test: Thursday; Test Friday

Science: We will finish our introduction to our new unit and begin our study of simple machines. Review quiz planned for Wednesday. Please check planner for changes.

 

 

Social Studies : DOG ONLY due on Friday. Mrs. King will continue Chapter 3 (Life in the Eastern Hemisphere). Group presentations will be on Tuesday! We will wrap up the chapter on Wednesday and preview Chapter 4 (and the next unit) on Thursday.

Language: We will review 3.5 paragraphs and begin our DARE essay. Rough drafts will be due on Friday. We will also continue journal writing and responding in our gratitude journal. There will also be a mini lesson on appositives and interjections; very brief quiz on Friday over interjections.

Science: Concentration on writing an abstract .
