FROM THE TEACHER:
Our spring
parties will be held Thursday from 1:30-2:15. Please refer to letter sent home
last week Art Fiesta is on Friday. If you would like to volunteer please
call the office or return form that went home.
This month's Positive Behavior
Support theme is Cooperation.
.If
your child will be out 2 or more days, please call the office for make-up work.
Please allow 24 hours. Students have 2 days from the day they return to school
to complete the work and turn it in. If a student is out of the class room for
an extra activity such as Talented Art, band, etc., it is their responsibility
to find out what they missed and get any handouts. |

This
Week at a Glance:
Science-
We'll be conclude unit "F" We'll complete a study guide on Monday. Review
the lessons and vocabulary on Tuesday, make a flip book for Newton's 3 Laws of
Motion on Wednesday and have the Chapter Test on Thursday. Math-
We'll work with variables and expressions this week. We'll do some practice
with input and output tables, write algebraic expressions and equations and begin
solving addition and subtraction algebraic expressions. We'll also continue to
review for the I-LEAP and practice our test taking skills. Social
Studies-We'll continue our new unit on Ancient Rome. We'll be working with
Lesson 3 to analyze the achievements of ancient Rome and compare and contrast
the rulers of its reign. Following this, we'll begin the lesson on the Beginnings
of Christianity (Lesson 4). Class activities may be used for a grade.
