INFORMATION

WHO: 4th and 5th graders at MMS, LHMS & TMS
WHAT: Virginia Field Trip (we fly)
WHEN: Sept 30- Oct 4, 2010
WHERE: Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown, VA
HOW: register online @ www.worldstrides.org

WHY: Discounted rate if you register for the trip before January 1, 2010.

Students who make good choices, are responsible, and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better are eligible for travel.

Bank Day is in full swing at Mandeville Middle School! The sixth grade tellers chosen for the Whitney Bank Seagull branch at the school have been trained to count the money, fill out deposit slips and make the deposits. They are learning valuable lessons in handling money, as well as customer service skills.

Energy Management Information

EMERGENCY ALERTS--The School System is introducing a communication tool for parents to receive emergency info through text messsages, email, or voice messages. To sign up, go to www.stpsb.org and click on the button on the right hand side of the screen that reads, "Sign up for Emergency and News Alerts." This system will be used to send out important info if we we have weather closures or any type of emergency.
